About Maria Gallace

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to introduce myself to You. I’m Maria Gallace and I am a Senior Mortgage Broker with DLC Maximal Mortgages. As much as I love being a mortgage broker and the relationship I establish with my clients, there is a bit more I’d like to tell you about myself.

I was raised in the community of Sherwood Park since I was 2 years old. Did you know that Sherwood Park is in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the world’s largest hamlet? Now I am now raising my 3 sons in this community and it really is home.

I am a local hockey mom and yes, all 3 of my sons play the sport – two goalies and a defence. In jest, I say being a goalie mom x 2 is every Mother’s dream come true. Also, “Goalie Mom” is the most stressful position on the team.  However, between you and me;  I enjoy every minute of watching them play a sport they are passionate about. I love the time I spend in my community going from rink to rink and the new and old relationships of my hockey family that continues from season to season.

In our downtime, which isn’t often as we average 12 hockey activities per week we will primarily spend our time in the kitchen. This likely stems from my Italian heritage. We love cooking and gathering to eat great food, bantering, laughing and sharing our low and high moments of each day. We also love to share cuddles with our Pug – Grace. I’ve included to introduce her. Her crooked paw gives her character, and she is so sweet you can’t help but fall in love with her calm demeanour. We could do without the snoring though!
